Coverage

Broadband speeds are available in Vodafone's 3G Mobile Broadband (MBB) Standard Coverage area for all compatible U2100MHz modems (ie. all Vodafone modems). Additionally, if you have a U850MHz compatible modem, broadband speeds are available in Vodafone's 3G 850 MBB coverage area and, if you have a U900MHz compatible modem, in Vodafone's 3G MBB Regional Coverage area (with slower speeds in the 3G MBB Regional Coverage area than the other areas). If you have a modem which is U2100MHz (or U2100/850MHz) but not U900MHz compatible, then you will only have coverage in Australia within Vodafone's 3G MBB Standard Coverage area and, if available for your device, Vodafone's 3G 850 MBB Coverage area (ie. no coverage in Vodafone's 3G MBB Regional Coverage area).

Your Download Speed on Vodafone

Your download speed is affected by where your location and the coverage of the network in that location. There are three connection speeds:

• Fastest: HSDPA Mobile which can operate at up to 3.6Mbps (with typical speeds quoted by Vodafone in the 600Kbps to 1.4Mps range).
• Slower: 3G which usually operates up to 384kbps download speed.
• Slow: GPRS which operates at 50kbps when you are outside metropolitan areas.

Usage

Usage is calculated in per MB increments.

Uploads & Downloads

Both uploads and downloads are counted in your monthly usage allowance.
